This is my 12"x12" page for the "Why I Scrap" contest. I had SO much fun with this contest! It gave me a chance to really think about the various reasons I started scrapping. I've always loved to hear stories about my relatives, but have always felt that no one knew as much as I would have liked. I don't want that to happen with future generations of my family. I want them to know ALL about me and my family. Not the usual birth, death, and marriage dates, but also the little day-to-day things that occurred. I've gotten away from that in my scrapping and this contest has made me bring the focus back. Thanks! Journaling reads:
Why I Scrap
For Life's Big moments, which mark the milestones in our lives.
For Life's little moments, which define who we are.
For past generations because theirstories deserve to be told.
For future generations because someday we will become their past & it's important for them to remember where they came from.
For these reasons, I scrap and preserve my family's memories.

Wonderful LO Cole. I don't know if this was the one you were originally going to post but it looks fantastic. I love your journaling and how you've integrated the various fonts and letters. Good luck!

I love how you highlighted all of the 'key' words in your journaling. Really draws attention to the important parts of your message. Just a really great layout.
