Passed down for the last few generations, Wheeler has become a family heirloom. Journaling reads:
The Legend of Wheeler
Grandpa received Wheeler as a gift for Christmas. He was brand new, and velvety brown, with button eyes and bright red wheels. Grandpa played with Wheeler until he was too big, and then Wheeler was packed away in the attic...until Mama was born! Wheeler came out of storage, a bit shabbier, perhaps, but still velvety soft and ready for adventure. When Mama got too big, back to the attic poor Wheeler went! Then came Emerson! Wheeler was revived...his button eyes missing, his ears gone, his velvety soft coat a little matted...but he was still wheeling along. You are almost too big for Wheeler already, Emerson, so after this trip to Papa and Mia’s, Wheeler will be banished to the attic again. That is, until the next generation, when Wheeler rides again!!

That is so cool. I love those kind of stories. Reminds me of the Velveteen Rabbit. I used the same highchair for my ds that hy dh's family has used for generations. This is a terrific looking lo. Great pics. Love it.
