Yeah, not much difference between the half and whole adults in the picture, huh?

This is one of my favorite pictures of us. It’s at Buca di Beppo, celebrating your 9th birthday in 2003. You and your sister are half-adults now!

It was you and Tori with Grammy, Papa, Kelly and me. We were all still hurting after losing Grams, but we were able to be together and not just help each other through hurting, but make each other smile. Grams would have wanted it no other way!

In your first nine years, you established yourself as a warm and caring person. You’ve always had a knack for knowing who needed extra love or protection and you’ve been there to give it. Your hugs have always had the comforting feel of someone much older and your smile has always been able to make me smile. You keep me young and happy!
