She is my blood relative but not the woman I met and knew a my Bisnonna on my Dad’s Mother’s side of the family. She died when my Noni was very young. Journaling Reads: Assunta Bonfini was Noni’s biological mother. Noni’s mother died when she was very young and Noni was raised by her father’s second wife, Domenica Bonfini. Noni always had this picture displayed, loving both the mother that gave her life and the mother who gave her a life.
