Journaling reads:
You always had so much hair, even from the day you were born. It was so pretty that we just never cut it in those first few years of life. It grew very long, and had the cutest natural curl at the ends. But in 2007, you began asking to get it cut. That year we happened to be involved in several weddings, and so I had told you that after the weddings, we would make a hair appointment with Ms. Cheryl, daddy’s hair stylist. In December, once the final wedding had been pulled off, we chopped off all that hair. Cheryl gave you the most precious little bob that framed your face perfectly. Suddenly, my toddler was gone and this mature little lady stood before me. As you can tell in the pictures, you were very excited about your new style. Not only did you get tons of compliments on it, but you were thrilled to donate two ponytails of 10+ inches of hair to “Locks of Love” so a great wig could be created for some child who had no hair. You are the greatest kid!

How cute! That cut is perfect for her face. My daughter and I both cut our long hair together for Locks of Love last year as well. It's a great feeling to help out someone in that way. But I completely relate to your feeling of losing a toddler and seeing a young lady. Beautiful job on the journaling and the photos of her in her new "do" are very sweet.
