This day, we decided to check out the new light rail that has only been operating for a couple of months in Charlotte. We parked our car at the South Blvd. station and rode the rails into town. Gabe could hardly sit in his seat. You both really enjoyed riding the train. It was very exciting. We got off in downtown and went to the omnimax to watch a 3-D movie about prehistoric seamonsters. You guys loved it! We walked through “downtown city” and checked out all the new things. I was amazed at all the new business and hustle and bustle. It no longer felt like a sleepy southern town, but a busy metropolis. Charlotte has definately grown up! You guys are such “country mice” you had a really hard time adjusting to the pace of being in the city! We’ll have to keep that in mind if we ever go to a REALLY big city!
