Holiday nerves? This year, ABSOLUTELY! My holidays are all new again! There is so much about to go on in my world that’s all new!!
I’ll be going to BORT Rail for the first time. David tells me there will be a lot of people I met at Summerail, but at Summerail, I was David’s girlfriend, “lucky David,” I like trains. Now I’ve put together a Musical Photobook of the train pictures I’ve been taking since May. It’s going to be shown on a big screen to the whole group, scores of railfans I haven’t met beforee.
Nervous? Nah....
After that is the Zoo gathering at Dave and Busters. It’ll be the first year that I’ll be juggling the duties of Aunt, Sister AND Girlfriend! It won’t be difficult new, but it represents change and change always carries a little bit of stress. Is David ready to see me in “full Aunting mode?”
Nervous? Well...
THEN, the weekend before Christmas I’ll meet David’s family! I’ll meet his Mom, brother Ben and his family and his half-brother Peter and his wife. I’ll meet everybody at once for Christmas! No stress, right??
Nervous? Uh-huh!!!!!
Now, of course, I ow I won’t fail in any of my new experiences. They are here because of a wonderful mutual feeling. My world, my family is expanding. As much as I am stressed about the next few weeks, I am exited about them. I hope they are the first of many magical holidays David and I share!
