Journalling reads: I was so cross with myself that I forgot to take a picture of the Beany Pussycats I made for your birthday party. These are 4 of the 13 which I made! Every one was different, they all had a white flanelette front (which makes them really soft and slightly fluffy) and a hand embroidered face in a colour matching the reverse fabric. The back fabrics were all different spots and stripes - red, blue, yellow, green, pink, and purple.
You both really enjoyed “helping” me stuff them with little plastic pellets, and you still like playing with them even a couple of months later.
I think the next shapes for us to try are spiders (you love playing the “spidey” game where our hands are friendly spiders) and also I think a little teddy shape could be cute. We could even try a dolly. So one of these afternoons we are at home, we can give it a try! So much easier to just make 2!
