Journaling reads: Sometimes I look in the mirror and I wonder who I am. I mean, who am I really? Am I the cheery face that you see in the office every morning? Am I the calm mother struggling to keep her toddler under control? Am I the understanding wife who tries to keep the peace by not making any waves of her own? Am I the patient designer just waiting to be discovered? What if I’m not any of these things? What if I’m not cheery or calm or understanding or patient? Am I less of a person? Am I not worthy of the same considerations? What are these masks that I wear? Are they part of who I am? Or are they part of who I think I should be?
