I had this cute photo of her scratching her head, so I decided to write a little story around it. Can’t wait to print it out for her! Story reads: Once upon a time in a faraway land there lived a little princess. The Princess’s name was Erin. Princess Erin was fair and beautiful and she liked to play and have fun all day long. Princess Erin also liked to pretend she was a fairy and she would put on some wings and dance around the castle singing and charming everyone she met. One day, her mummy noticed that her wings were missing. She asked Princess Erin where she had left her wings. “The fairies borrowed them” came the reply. When asked why the fairies would want to borrow her wings, Princess Erin stated that she liked to share and that the fairies had though that her wings were very pretty because they were all purple with sparkly and glittery bits. When her mummy asked Princess Erin when the fairies would be returning the wings, Princess Erin scratched her head and said that she didn’t know. “I’m sure they will return them soon mummy” she said. “I think they were only playing with them, they don’t really need them. They have REAL wings!” And in the next breath she asked, “Mummy, can I get some real wings too? I want to fly.”
