I am blessed to have four friends that are as much my family as my relatives are. We call each other brothers and sisters. These are four people who have been with me more than half my life. We’ve celebrated the holidays together, our kids know us all as aunts and uncles, they were the ones that held my hands walkng into the church at my Mom’s funeral and they were the ones who traveled from all over to surprise m for my 40th birthday. They are my chosen siblings.
