That makes me one of those people who gets goose bumps at the July Fourth fireworks and who cries when they play the US National Anthem at the Olympics! This is part of my heritage project, bridging the pages from “Meet my family in San Marino” to “oh wow, we’re Americans now!” Journaling reads: After spending time working abroad, away from his family, in 1957, Nono brought that family to share in his new American Dream.
