I did this project for a special gift for my good friend. I gave them as a thank you for watching my son so my hubby and I could go out for our 4 yr anniversary. It was only the 2nd time we had been able to go out together in over 2 years! They turned out beautifully (although the pic does NOT do them justice! I had to take the pics real quick while she waited in the living room wondering why I came in, went running into the bedroom and shut the door! LOL But we had to leave for our night out before they were dry and I couldn't take pics of them until we got home and before I gave them to her, so I did the pics in a hurry. I wish they showed the detail better because the canvas texture really came through wonderfully!)
Alicia (my friend) loved them. She said she cried all the way home and said her hubby couldn\'t stop looking at them!
I printed the images on white tissue paper (sized 8x8 to fit in my printer) and then used Mod Podge to apply the tissue paper to 8x8 artist canvases. I plan to do some of my son along with my favorite quotes and apply them to a huge canvas, have my hubby paint in between the images (so it's like a big collage), which I then will hang above our bed! If I EVER get around to doing it, I'll post the image here!!

Oh wow they are beautiful!! How did you get the tissue paper to stay rigid as it went thru the printer?? I never thought to print to tissue paper.
