I was about six months pregnant with you cousin when you came to visit with you Mommy, Daddy, sister and Grandma Meli. It was just after Christmas, it wasn’t freezing or cold but it was cool, too cool to be without jackets. It was just you, me, Uncle Edward and Grandma Meli on the beach that day. You ran through the sand, nearly gave me a heart attack when you ran towards the water, played in the sand and chased seagulls. I love this picture because when I took it I thought of my daughter. I remember thinking that one day soon I would be doing the same with her. But I hope it will be warmer! I remember I couldn’t wait to experience the same excitement seeing you play, laugh and enjoy yourself with my baby. I took pictures of you imitating your uncle feeding the seagulls and the footprints you left behind in the sand and in my heart.
