This layout will go in all of my kids' albums, so they can learn about their roots.
Journaling:
John Sigfurd and Mary Ellen Johnson
lived in Lougheed, Alberta with their five
sons; George, Loran, Wilson, John, and
James. They came to Lougheed from
North Dakota in 1918. When they first
moved to Lougheed, they had to live in a
sod home for a winter, while their house
was being built. John farmed the land until
1928, and then worked for a grain elevator.
When the children grew, Loran settled in
Lougheed, but the other four sons moved
back to the States, where they all
settled down in Oregon.

What a blessing to have all these old pictures and, more importantly, to know who they are and their story. This is a beautiful page - love how many elements you've included. Great journaling, too!
